Most famous of all the Sisterhoods are those who hail from Tarkis, once a small Basilean kingdom famed for its light warriors, and still famous for its Gur Panthers.
Gur Panthers hate the scent of humans but can be trained to tolerate it; however they will not allow themselves to be ridden by any but a woman. Armed with wickedly curved glaives, Lancers are nimble fast cavalry often seen harrying the flanks of an enemy attack.
